Pivot Point

We went to pivot point to climb and ended up camping because the arm was closed to get back home. That was ok though we def had an adventure:)
Between meeting an olé timer climber who was one of the first to develop routes on the arm and where we were climbing, then there was the old man we met walking his bike down the arm ẃe picked up, our couple hours in anchorage getting food and then our night camping and chatting along the arm. It was a lot fun and laughs.

Crescent Creek Run/Bike

We had a great time this Sunday at Crescent Creek. Natalie ran while Nic biked the trail. It was 12 miles of complete awesomeness! The trail is beautiful with some technical spots for both runners and bikers. The forest is really cool.

Great Day for a 10k Mountain Bike Ride-Training

Nic and Natalie all ready to ride some trails on their new bikes.

nat loving her new Trek

The weather held so we finished our 10k without getting wet. We explored some areas and took some trails we had never been on before. We kept our pace fast as to escape the mosquitos. Awesome day!

Playing In the Sun and Yarding

Today we relaxed. Merek played in the yard and helped his mama water the plants. Afterwards Nic and Nat enjoyed sitting in the sunshine together while Merek played with the water. Merek loves playing in the sprinkler and with the hose so he had a blast with that. Merek checked out his future tricycle, sat on it and gave the smile of approval.

Oh Yeah- hes digging it!

The "you see me mama" look...

Super stoked!

Natalie's pleased with her garden and has fun "yarding" lol! Merek loves to help her water the plants. Later on we rode our bikes to the trails and rode singletrack. We have been keeping busy. Merek loves it when his sisters call every other day and they talk to him. As do Nic and Nat. Merek also loved it when we met up with his sisters in Anchorage and played around. He was so excited to see them and so sad when they left.  We all miss them. So in the meantime we are staying busy while summer is flying by.

Glad to help mama:)

Nic and Nat Training

We have been training a lot this summer, between mt. biking, climbing, running, and hiking plus working out and strength training. Natalie has been running 10k plus and intervals while Nic has been mt. biking the 10ks while Nat runs as to put less stress on his knees. We enjoy single track biking and climbing together on the days Nat wants to switch up her 6 plus mile run. Cross training is def awesome and fun! Merek rides in the bike seat, the backpack or jogger which ever one we bring. He loves being outside. In fact one of his first words was "outside" and "tree". When we are not training we play in the dirt with Mereks toys, discover and explore the trails, birds and botany, and help Nic cut single track trails at Tsalteshi.

We often start our running/biking on the single track trail we cut last year; here are some pics of Natalie running on it.
