Skyline Trail

Our hike up Skyline Trail was the first hike on the Peninsula that we did once we moved down here and we had a blast! Its a 1800 foot elevation in only a mile but it truly is an amazing hike to the top!

The view on the trail not even a half mile from the start.

The peaks that are our destination..

Lower Grapefruit Rocks October 2012

After the first snow fall of this year we enjoyed a quiet Sunday hike at Lower Grapefruit Rocks that sits just north of Fairbanks.

Following Nanooks tracks that ran out and back on the trail.

Sad abandoned car

In the summer this is a great campsite.

Through the trees is one of the rocks to climb.

Same rock face different angle.
